The Producers
Founded by producer Mikel Mas and director Manuel Perez, among others partners, Cornelius Films developes and produces projects by supporting a committed, personal cinema in touch with its time. It has produced feature-length documentaries such a “Metamophosis”, “Generació 3.0” or “L’hora del pati”, and short films such as "Extraños en la carretera", “A New Way of Life” or “Miedo”. Its first fiction feature film, “Frontera”, was selected at the Malaga Film Festival - ZonaZine, where it won the Best Director and Best Actor awards.
Wuji House is a production company dedicated to the creation, development, and production of audiovisual content for TV, advertising & multimedia founded by Ángel Coronado and Oriol Roca. Currently, as well as working on the creative development of several projects, Wuji House is co-producing the series “I, Elvis Riboldi” with Insomne Estudi, Peekaboo Animation and WatchNextMedia, "Mironins" with Cornelius Films and has created and co-produces the project "Me&Snowy" with Arait Multimedia and Insomne Estudi.
Peekaboo Animation is a production and distribution company, founded by Iván Agenjo and Javier Galán, devoted to the creation, development, and production of animated content for kids, as well as its distribution and commercial exploitation on a worldwide basis. Currently, Peekaboo is coproducing “I Elvis Riboldi” in collaboration with Wuji House, Insomne Estudi, WatchNextMedia and Canal+ France, as well as “Fred’s Adventures” with WideFrameStudio. Peekaboo also represents third-party titles, such as the catalogue of Edebé Audiovisual, OQO filmes or DigitalyCual.
Grupa Smacznego is an animation studio and production company founded by producer Robert Jaszczurowski and directors Łukasz Kacprowicz and Marcin Wasilewski. They are responsible for numerous animated projects, both commercial and artistic, including Paul Shuttleworth’s "Harry and Toto", a TV series for BBC Worldwide; the award-winning "Mami Fatale", an original TV series syndicated in múltiple territories and the 3D short “Lost Senses”, which received the Jury Award at SIGGRAPH 2013. "Mice on strike" will be its first feature.
The Fundació Joan Miró is a museum of modern art designed by architect Josep Lluís Sert that honours the artist Joan Miró. The Fundació was created by Miró himself, at first mainly with works from his own private collection. The painter wanted to set up an internationally recognised centre in Barcelona for Miró scholarship and contemporary art research – he wanted, in particular, to encourage young artists to experiment with art –and to exhibit his collection. The Fundació opened to the public on 10th June 1975.
